What companies are eligible?
In order to be eligible, at least one of the founders of the company must be a current university student (not including MBA and Ph.D. candidates). Also, if chosen, the founding members must be available to attend the Kairos Global Summit on February 3-5 in New York.
How are companies selected to be a part of the Kairos 50?
The list is highly selective and involves a rigorous selection process. Companies are selected by a panel of CEOs, students, and entrepreneurial leaders on the basis of global impact.
What are the benefits of those recognized among the Kairos 50?
Members of the Kairos 50 will be given the chance to showcase their innovation on the trading floor of the NYSE and will also be invited to a private reception with a group of world leaders. Past mentors that have supported the Kairos Global Summit include President William J Clinton, Phil Condit (Former CEO, Boeing), Ellen Kullman (CEO, DuPont), Duncan Niederauer (CEO, NYSE), Peter Diamandis (Chairman, X-Prize Foundation), and more.
When are applications due to the Kairos 50?
Applications must be submitted no later than midnight on December 27th, 2011. The list will be announced on January 1st, 2012.
